Trip & First day briefly written

15 Augustus 2009 | Verenigde Staten, Muncie
A second 6-month period abroad, therefore a new blog. This time not in Spain but in the US. Muncie Indiana to be exact. Just a short note to let you all know the flight from Brussels to Indianapolis went well, and I arrived safely at the Ball State University campus, where a welcoming committee was waiting for us (We got W we got a E ….!!).
What I might have mentioned before take-off was that I would be sharing a room with another girl, however this is not the case. I have an own room, SCORE! Nevertheless, I do chare the bathroom and kitchen with 3 other girls.
I have not yet met my new roommate nor the neighbors, but do already have made friends with two guys, a Swedish 25 year old and a 21 year old from Malta, who were on the same bus from the airport to campus. Explored the dining places and campus a bit, which is quite big! As for dining, never new a guy before who was into calories, sugars and fat percentages. He might be worse than me! haha :D
Ok, time to go to bed now, but just one more thing before I doze off, ‘long live Starbucks!’ (and yes it is cheaper here, SCORE!)

Top dat de reis goed is verlopen, het is toch een heel eind in zo'n vliegtuig. Veel plezier daar en tot in januari. In de tussentijd zal ik je blog zeker volgen.
